Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly, commonly known as Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world. He is an Egyptian professional Footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool and also serves as a captain for the Egypt National Team. Born on June 15, 1992, Mohamed Salah is 30 years old Arabic footballer who is considered one of the greatest African players on international level. He was born to his mother about whom only little is known and his father, Salah Galey. Football Career
Salah started his career with local youth teams. He had Ronaldo, Francesco Totti and Zinedine Zidane as his childhood idols. He started his youth career with a local Egyptian club, Ittihad Basyoun. Then he was transferred to Al Mokawloon where he gave a cake start to his senior career in 2010. His undefeated talent came into notice of the first team manager Mohamed Radwan as a result of which he was moved to the senior team of Al Mokawloon. This is how Salah made his Senior debut. On May 3, 2010, he made his senior team debut in the Egyptian Premier League as a substitute in a 1-1 draw match against El Mansoura. He was promoted to be a regular for Al Mokawloon and remained one till 2012.
Here begins a journey with Swiss Super League club Basel which had featured Salah in 2012. The club organised a friendly match with Egypt U-23 team. The match was played on March 16, 2012 at the Stadion Rankhof in Basel. In April 2012, it was announced that Salah signed a four years contract with the club starting from June 15, 2012. Salah scored in an unofficial debut match where he emerged victorious 4-2 over Steaua Bucuresti. Officially, he made his debut on August 8 , coming on as a substitute in a UEFA champions league primary stage game against the Norwegian club, Molde. Yet, he made his debut in the Swiss Super League on August 12 playing a complete match against Thun and scored his first league goal on August 19 and second goal in a winning match (2-0) against Lausanne.

As of season 2013-14 he made his first league appearance on July 13, 2013 against Aarau. A month later, he also scored his first Champions League goal against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the third round. After winning so many matches and League competitions with Basel, he was finally transferred to the London-based club Chelsea. It was keen to sign one more successful footballer and on January 23, 2014 they announced that Salah had signed a contract with the club accepting their offer salary of £11 million. In total, Salah made 13 appearances and 2 goals for Chelsea. On February 8, 2014, the Egyptian footballer made his debut for Chelsea in the Premier League, entering the 3-0 win over Newcastle United as a substitute. On March 22, 2013, he scored his first League goal with Chelsea in a match 6-0 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. For season 2014-15, the Egyptians future with Chelsea looked quite unsure as a rumour spread claiming that he could be forced by Egypt to join the Military Service after he registered for an education scheme. Fortunately he was spared from Military service thanks to the Egyptian prime minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Higher Education Minister and the Egyptian national manager Shawky Gharieb.

On February 2 2015 it was declared by Chelsea that Salah would play for the Italian club Florentina on a 18-month long period loan marking the end of 2015-16 season. Salah scored his first goal for the Italian club on February 14 against Sassuolo. Two minutes after scoring his first goal he assisted Khouma Babacar with the match ending in a 3-1 win for Florentina. He made a total of 16 appearances and six goals for the team.
For season 2015-16, Salah played for Roma on a loan of one season for €5 million joined on August 6, 2015. One month later, he scored his first goal of the season against Sassulo helping Roma score a point to end the match in a 2-2 draw. He made his first goal for the team on August 20 in a 4-0 win over Udinese. On November 6, he scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Bologna.
Liverpool
Finally, on June 22, 2017, Mohamed Salah agreed to sign the contract with Premier League club Liverpool. Then, he signed a long-term contract with the Reds initially for a salary of £36.5 million which was later raised to £43 million. He was given the number 11 there which was previously assigned to Roberto Firmino who shifted to number 9.
Salah started to play for Liverpool in 2017 and continues to do so. In his first season 2017-18 with Liverpool, his performance got him many proclaimed awards such as PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Player of the year.
