Netflix UK & Ireland confirms on Twitter that a documentary series about global football icon and former England captain David Beckham is currently in production. The announcement has already got Beckham and football fans across the world very excited.
Netflix further says that the David Beckham documentary series will feature a mix of unseen personal archive footage from the last 40 years as well as interviews with friends, family, and footballing figures who have been part of his journey.
The series is being produced by Beckham’s own production company Studio 99, in association with Battsek’s Ventureland.
Talking of the directors of this documentary, Fisher Stevens has teamed up with John Battsek to direct it.
