Who is The King of Football Speed?

There’s no debate on who is the king of football speed as we all know that the Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is the fastest footballer in the world. The French superstar had set the record for the top speed of 38 km/h against his former team AS Monaco in the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season. 

Mbappe is not the only one to achieve this level of speed as Wolverhampton Wanderers’ famous winger Adama Traore who is currently on loan at FC Barcelona, also striked the same speed of 38 km/h in a game in 2019-20 UEFA Champions League quarter final for Wolves against La Liga side Sevilla. 

Surprisingly, Mbappe and Adama Traore with their top speed of 38 km/h left the Olympic champion Usain Bolt behind who marked the top speed of 37.58 km/h in the 100m event in 2009. 

However, it has never been determined who is going to remain the fastest Footballer on the earth or who is the King of football. For now, Kylian Mbappe and Adama Traore secure the place but there are so many other players ready to kick them out of the scene and replace them as the king of football speed. When we talk about speed, strength or goals, it’s hard to determine who is the king because these positions are replaceable. However, there is not one, two or three but several kings of Football speed with no clue of who could come on the top by when.
